Now You See Me 2” (2016)

Following the impressive commercial success of the first film, Lionsgate quickly confirmed a sequel was in the works back on July 3, 2013. While Louis Leterrier initially planned to return as director, Jon M. Chu took the helm in September 2014.

Most of the beloved cast reprised their roles, including Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Michael Caine, and Morgan Freeman. However, due to her pregnancy, Isla Fisher was replaced by Lizzy Caplan, who joined as a new character, Lula May. Adding more star power, Michael Caine later revealed that Daniel Radcliffe had also joined the cast as his character’s son, Walter Mabry. Filming began in late November 2014, and the eagerly anticipated sequel, titled “Now You See Me 2,” hit theaters on June 10, 2016.

“Now You See Me: Now You Don’t” (Coming in 2025!)

The magic isn’t stopping there! Lionsgate announced that early development for a third installment had begun as early as May 22, 2015.

Fast forward to 2024, and filming for the highly anticipated “Now You See Me 3” has officially begun under the direction of Ruben Fleischer. The newest installment has an exciting new title: “Now You See Me: Now You Don’t,” and it’s currently scheduled to be released on November 14, 2025! Get ready for another round of astonishing illusions and intricate plot twists!
