The spirits of their dead daughter and other companions haunt their dreams and waking hours. They are repeatedly tormented by the presence of a demon – a monstrous entity that stalks them, seeking to punish them for their past deeds. This demon isn’t confined to the house’s walls; it dwells within their minds, a chilling embodiment of their guilt and sorrow.

Ultimately, the husband and wife unite to defeat this demon. But this is no mere victory over an invisible force; it is a profound triumph over the horrifying reality of their own minds and the psychological battle they face.
